Growing up fast

Paige continues to do well and is getting cuter and cuter every day.  She seems to be improving with the solids.  She eats them at daycare which Jake and I both found hard to believe.  However, he fed her today and she actually did pretty well.  She really seems to like the avocado which is great since we need to fatten her up.  Surprisingly she still doesn't love any of the fruits but hopefully she'll adjust in time.

She seems to be changing on a daily basis and is learning new things every day.  A few days ago she showed an interest in Jake's glass when he was drinking water.  So we broke out the sippy cup and she started experimenting with it.  She made the same faces of disgust when she first tasted the water that she made with the food but she seems to grasp the concept.  That's definitely a relief since I've heard that transition can be a challenge with some babies.

We're heading to Greenfield this weekend in an effort to vacate the house so Jake can get some work done.  We're hoping to get the house on the market by late spring but there's lots of fixing to be done before we can do that so we'll visit Grammy and Papa for the weekend.  I'm hoping Paige will do ok sleeping in the Pack N Play while we're there.  At least she can get her naps in while we do the drive.  One thing's for sure, it will be a weekend of spoiling for her!
